Parents,
Our goal in Kindergarten is to create an environment where students can become confident and self reliant. In order to make a smooth transition into Kindergarten we are requesting that your child review the attached worksheets throughout the summer. Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation. We look forward to seeing all of you in August.

Letter recognition is an essential skill needed for the beginning reader.
Please follow the directions below: (using the worksheets below)
1. Place a piece of paper covering all rows except one.
2. Ask your child to locate then name an uppercase letter.
3. Once the correct letter is found, have your child locate the same letter on the lowercase sheet.
*This should be a daily review until the student can easily recognize and name the upper and lower case letters.
